Multipolar Neuron (MPN) - 4HP Triple Passive Clock to Tap-Tempo Eurorack Module
The Multipolar Neuron is a triple passive clock to tap-tempo // gate to remote switch // V-tig to S-trig converter module for eurorack
When a 5V* clock or gate signal from your modular system is applied to one of the MPN's inputs, the corresponding 1/4" output is switched to ground to simulate a momentary switch. This allows you to sync or switch an external piece of gear that has a socket for external tap-tempo or remote switching
DIP switches on the rear of the unit allow you to configure each output separately to connect the tip, ring or both of the 1/4" socket connections to ground so it's compatible with standard tap-tempo sockets, as well as pedals that require less common connections such as the DOD Rubberneck Delay or TC Electronics HOF2. Each 3.5mm output can also be set to pass the gate/clock thru, or as an additional "switch to ground" output, ideal for a synth that requires S-trig inputs to trigger envelopes such as the Korg MS-20 Mini
Input sockets are normalled, if a connection is made to the top input the signal is also sent into the two below, making it easy to sync three pieces of gear to one clock signal. Inserting a cable into one of the two lower inputs will beak the normalling so you can have three seperate signals controlling each output.
